OpenOffice, link in footer doesn't work

Hi there, I have a OpenOffice document in which I would like to insert a link (to the index page) on each page. I put the link in the footer, but when I export the document to PDF the link doesn't work properly.. It's fine for even pages and It doesn't work for odd pages..

Any suggestions to solve the issue?

I never tried links like that in a footer I always put them at the bottom of a page. This may help you
