Operating system not found press CTRL+ALT+DEL to restart

Hi Guys,
When i power on the system i get a message Operating system not found press CTRL+ALT+DEL to restart, when checked in boot options unable to locate hard disk, but when restarting the PC and pressing F9 to select boot device i'm able to locate the hard disk and after selecting it windows is working but every-time pressing F9 doesn't feel good, please do the needful..

Did your CMOS battery die (or weak), and the BIOS lost the boot order? Check to see that the HDD is the first boot device. Or the very next one after the optical drive.

The system is 1 week old, and when trying to slect boot order the hard disk in not in the options, but when restarting and pressing f9 im able to detect the hard disk..
