I was just wondering about this new set up I am about to buy and what you think I should add as an moderately expensive ($200-$250) GPU.

Motherboard: ASRock 990FX EXTREME3 Socket AM3+/ AMD 990FX/ AMD Quad CrossFireX& nVidia Quad SLI/ SATA3&USB3.0/ A&GbE/ ATX

Processor: AMD FX 4100 4-Core Processor, 3.6 4 Socket AM3+ FD4100WMGUSBX

Memory: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800)

HDD: WD Black Desktop 1TB SATA 6.0 GB/s 7200 RPM 3.5 (I will buy an SDD later on)

I like the suggestion thanks.

More RAM is good but could be a waste of money. Most gamers, even high end gamers, buy 2x4GB 1600 RAM. Why not 16GB? Cuz games don't need it, and it will not help the performance of the games. People that buy 16GB do a lot of editing work. I do photo editing but I've never found 8GB to be a limitation. I play Far Cry 3, BF3, and Skyrim and my memory use never exceeds 5.5GB. Like I said 16GB is for those the do a lot of editing work and they are more concerned about that then gaming.

Also, you want your RAM to run in dual channel. So grab 2x4GB, not 1x8GB. 2x4GB is faster.
