Hey Everyone,

This is my second build. My current computer is 5 years old and time for an update. My use for this machine will be virtualization shop and gaming. Right now I have 16 gigs but will expand to the max 32 gigs on the current mobo. I will be re-using my power supply (Corsair 750W Bronze series), GTX 560 TI (will update when GTA 5 comes out, currently playing older games), and my case (Antec 900). Thoughts and suggestions are appreciated. Right now the CPU and MOBO is on sale at Microcenter, CPU is 250 and Mobo is 110 I believe. So the price is roughly 50-75 dollars less than listed. Am looking out for SSD that is onsale.

16GB of RAM is a lot - no need for 32GB. 8 GB is enough for gaming.
You are also going to want to get a better CPU cooler - the Cooler Master 212 EVO is very cheap, and will perform much better than the cooler listed to cool your VERY good CPU.
Also, the 4790k is not needed for gaming right now. An i5 4690k is more than enough.

I do agree with you Canadian about the CPU, but I am also going to setup either VMWare or a Hyper-V environment which is why I am going to stick with the I7 and ram. I will look into the cooler you recommended for sure though.

Ok, stick with the i7 and 16GB, but don't upgrade to 32GB - it's a waste of money.
