Opinion on cheap pc build.

I saw this youtuber make a video on a $450-ish dollar pc. I switched out the GPU because it wasnt available anymore. I need help to make sure that it still runs VR smoothly and can game most games on 1080p 60fps (medium to ultra settings). I have no past experience with building a pc so i have no idea about how well this build is and what all the statistic numbers mean. here is the list of parts:

What could/would happen if I were to just stick with the same power supply as in my build, and sorry to ask but I really don't know too much about pc's but what is a power connector?

vr with that cpu? not going to be enough to avoid motion sickness, you need at least a i5 cpu, the i3 minimum

about the power connector, the video card or gpu, this model in particular requires a cable comming form the psu you listed, the cable gives enough power to the video card to work

the 430 watts psu is a bit small, on the limit for this gpu you listed, ideally that same but 500watts should be better

the hard disk listed, is a bit small, you want to have at least 1 treabyte hard disk to avoid filling it too quickly with games and files

You'll need a more powerful CPU, at least a Core i3-6100 for an Oculus Rift (a Vive will typically require more, because it doesn't have ASW).

You can step down to an RX 470 to save a bit of cash if necessary.

The power supply is sufficient, the official 500W suggestion is slightly overkill.

perhaps is overkill but is better to have room to grow than have a limmited space

also some 430 psus only have a 6 pin connector, if you buy a gpu that need a 8 pin connector, you have problems there

do you know how much of a difference changing to an RX 470 will do compared to keeping the 480?

it looses around 20 to 15% of performace when compared to the 480, not that much loss in reality but for vr, you need as much power you can fit into the pc so change gpu later would be a waste of money and time and perhaps a bad experience with vr
