Opinion on my younger brothers new PC

Making my younger brother a PC because he's getting sick of his laptop. I'm only using some old hardware I've got left over over the last years of PC building and what my friends have given me to use. I've got everything but a case, HDD and WiFi card.

My original idea was to do a LGA775 build with a Core2Quad Q9550 but then my friend gave me a FM2 motherboard so I decided to go with that.

CPU: A8-6600k with old Cooler Master stock cooler.
MoBo: Gigabyte GA-F2A55M-DS2 Rev 1.2
GPU: XFX Radeon HD 6670 2GB DDR3
RAM: 2x4GB 1333MHz OEM DDR3 RAM
PSU: Corsair VS450

Keyboard: MadCatz Cyborg V7
Mouse: Some old Dell optical mouse with forward/backward buttons

I also gotta to say that the reason I've chosen the A8-6600K is because it's fairly cheep (I got it for £40) and I can use that "HybridCrossfire" with the Radeon HD 6670.

All I want now, is some help choosing a case. I know it has to be a M-ATX case, but he also wants a "Gaming" case. Ya'know... One that looks all aggressive and gamer like.

Thank you for taking your time by reading this and I cannot wait to hear your opinions.

yo!

I looked for some more aggressive stuff, but personally out of this I like number 4 still.

Stuff I found on amazon.co.uk:

If he's going for looks, the NZXT S340 Razer Edition should be perfect for him. Has great lighting and an underlight, while providing all the space and airflow he needs at a good price.
The PC components should be fine to run games like minecraft/csgo at 60fps on decent settings.

Thank you for the reply... But the thing is about that case... I don't want to pay anything more than £40 ($55) for the case and it has to have at least one 5.25 inch drive bay because he has a couple of games on DVD (NFS:MW & COD being an example) And I don't wanna buy a USB DVD drive when he will most likely break it (Already broken 6 USB sticks).

And by "Gamer and Aggressive" I was thinking more like then Areocool X-Worrier or the Rosewill Thor V2.

Oh, and what frame rates do you think he'll get while playing games such as TF2, Battlefield and Skyrim? I know that those are 3 games he will REALLY wanna play.

Once again, many thanks for the reply.

ar2uro - that's more like it. I'm not a fan of them either, but he's only 14 years old so he wants a PC case which he can show off to his friends and say how awesome it looks and everything.

Just annoying that's it's from America... But I shall look on English websites such as Amazon.co.uk and Ebay.co.uk.

You got any other ideas? But even more aggressive looking? He wants a "awesome and angry" looking case... Quoting him there.

Well... I've found his case! Thank you soo much for your help! I'll buy it with my next pay cheque. I'll be buying number 4 in red, but I'll guess he'll have to live without a disk drive.

If you could keep looking though, it would be much appreciated as it's 3.10AM and I've got work at 7AM.

Once again, many thanks

Battlefield might not run too well, but should get 45 fps or so on low settings, which is more than playable.
The other two games should run 60fps on good settings.
The Rosewill thor v2 is a solid case for budget builds, but i'd go for the Rosewill dual fan mini tower, goes for 30 bucks, buy it if you can :)
That about tops it up I think.

Here is another m-itx on amazon.co.uk w/ a disk drive mount that looks pretty flashy:

and a few more :D

also as @Chungalug_ said, the thor v2 is a decent gaming style case for budget builds, but it is not sold on amazon.co.uk.

also one more thing -
number 4, looks like a ripoff from a diypc case, but its amazon so you should be ok. just thought i might let you know that it looked a tiny bit sketchy - was on newegg checking reviews (which are pretty positive), when i noticed the newegg one was by diypc. The amazon seller has like 100% positive feedback so i'm probably worrying over nothing.

Oh, don't worry about buying from Amazon. I almost buy all my PC parts from there. If something is up, contact the supplier... If you get no reply or no useful help, contact amazon themselves and they'll deal with problem from there
