Opinion on OC build

I decided to go ahead and build a new intel build since I have the money. Ill be running games at 1440p and yes I have a 1440/ 144hz monitor. This is what I am currently looking at:
I7 6700k
GTX 980 Ti
16GB memory
samsung evo 250 GB SSD
1TB HDD
Asus Z170 A mobo

Any opinion on gpu's would be helpful. I know the 1080 is out but it's a little expensive and hard to find, as goes for the 1070. AMD's new rx 480 will be released soon but I still feel like it's not quite what I want even if it is the best "budget" gpu out there. plus there aren't any accurate benchmarks available for it yet. Also I would like a really good case in the 100 dollar price range if anyone has any ideas

I wouldn't bother with GTX 980 Ti. In a few weeks, when more 1080/1070s are available, you will kick yourself for spending that much money on an outdated card. Patience pays off, my friend. The build looks good otherwise. But make sure that mobo has all the features you need.
