I was going for a $1,500 build, but I'd like some feedback if this build is worth the extra $300.

For context: I don't have anything, so I needed to include keyboard, monitor and lame speakers. I built this in iBuyPower.

Again, budget was $1500 but this ended up in $1815. I like the 6th gen i7, 32Gb Ram, 512 GB SSD and two monitors. I got greedy with those options, but then I came to this forum and haven't found a build like this below $2000. Thoughts?

Couple of things the I7-6700k while a good chip is seriously overkill, the I5-6600k is cheaper and works just as well in games as the I7-6700k so no point getting the I7 unless you render a lot of videos then go for the I7, 32GB of RAM is overkill unless you want your system to be a small server, 8gb is the max requirement for any game at the moment so 16GB is double what you need get a 16GB kit 2x8GB rather than 4x8GB its just a waste of money, Finally 1000W power supply why the hell do you need that you could SLI you 970 on a 850W power supply unless you plan on getting another 2 GTX 970's and having 3 way SLI there is no reason to go for a power supply that high get a good 650W and you will be fine.

Thanks for the response Hawkshot, it helps to have perspective on what the max requirements are for different tasks. The i5 and 16Gb of Ram will put this build in the $1500 range. Thanks!
