You know that gtx 1050ti will not be enough for 144 FPS in many games? The build is good overall, but GPU is too weak for it, it will decrease performance in gaming a lot.
A side note, faster RAM, 2666 MHz or even more, would be nice.

Do you recommend any mildly more expensive GPU that is faster than the 1050ti and fits my build?

Gtx 1060 3gb will be worlds better than 1050 ti, or do gtx 1060 6gb/ rx 570 / rx 580 if you can swing it.

If you can't afford a better video card, consider going with last gen i5 so you can get a more affordable motherboard (80 to 100$range) . Until you get up past a gtx 1070 an i5 8400 will not be a bottleneck. Of course this limits upgrade options, but you still could go i7 7700k in the future.

Generally I don't like 1060 3 Gb, because it's low VRAM can cause problems at higher resolutions, but since you are buying 1080p monitor, it should be enough.

That will work nicely, but (there is always one) note that GPU has just one fan - and that means more noise under load.

Not really. The single fan designs use a considerably larger fan vrs dual or triple designs. That usually means lower rpm and higher cfm. Mostly the dual/triple design cards are built more for user OC as the heatsink gets slightly better cooling spread. Realistically, there's almost no difference at stock values.

As far as the difference between the Ryzen and Intel 8400, the Ryzen has OC ability, 6 cores/12 threads but standard performance is equitable. Prices on motherboard are considerably different, enough that it offsets some of the price of the better gpu. Also added a good ssd, which will help with system speeds vrs a straight hdd.
