an impressive amount of time? ohh i wish! otherwise i wouldn't be carrying my age-old nokia N70 phone as a backup incase my iphone 4 died might as well switch to this whenever it releases as ios6 has been nothing but a battery-hog "good ol iOS 4.2.1 3days without turning it off"

Just like vmem, I could forgive the phone for not having a removable battery considering the impressive capacity of the one that comes with it BUT I imagine that because of that it will also sacrifice a micro SD slot which is almost a dealbreaker for me.

Why do I get the feeling this is going to be around 699-799 at launch and have limited availability. Doesnt matter what the specs are all it comes down to is the pricing, I am almost 100% sure it wont come to any carrier to the US so a subsidized version is out the window...

Battery being removable or not has nothing to do with capacity for 99.99% of owners, it's problem for replacing it in case of faulty battery.

quad-core 2.3 GHz? Holy shit... The time has come... A smartphone is more powerful than my laptop (i7-3610QM@2.3GHz)

Well, that spec-wise. My laptop still can play Crysis better than that phone.

Just to avoid confusion - if battery is not user replaceable, it is possible to achieve bigger capacity on same size factor.
"Six things to know about smartphone batteries"
So both you and TomsHW are right.
