Optical Drive not detected

I'm having a problem, i just finished a new build but my optical drive is not showing up in my computer or device manager, not to big of a problem but i would like it working because i have some drivers that i need to install from a CD. If anyone knows a fix it would be appreciated!

Check that both the power cable and the data cable are connected properly (at both ends).

Sata wasn't connected correctly haha

Yes, this is often the case. Happens to me as well!
