[SOLVED] Optimal Ram overclock

So i tried my hand at OCing my ram since i heard that Ryzen IGPUs benefit from it and here's what i got:
Default: 2400mhz at 17-17-17-17-39 at 1.2 volts
OC : 3000mhz at 16-17-17-17-45 at 1.34 volts

I tried reducing the rest of the timings to 16 and last one to 40 but it didn't work and had to reset the CMOS using jumper.
Is this OC enough to make a noticeable difference? Also should i try for 2800 something speed and lower timings or 3200mhz with higher timings?

I think you are doing good enough. Pushing it any harder would likely necessitate higher CL negating any frequency gains. Frequency and latency...

I think you are doing good enough. Pushing it any harder would likely necessitate higher CL negating any frequency gains. Frequency and latency reflect on different software differently so having stable RAM is more important.
Stability issues inevitably crop up further you go with OC. If a certain RAM is able to run at certain speed reliably, they would have provided XMP accordingly (and of course charged for it).
