Hi,I have Dell Optiplex 780 WorkStation I was wondering if there were any video cards available with over 2GB RAM that will fit in my desktop. plan is to play Realm Royale with a goal of not spending more than $100
Specs:
305w stock dell PSU
CPU:Intel core 2 duo E8500 @3.16 GHz
RAM: 5.00GB DDR3
OS:Windows 7 64 bit

note: i read on the dell forums that the max TDP on the graphics card slot is 75W, also single slot, low profile. not sure where to look.

The drawback with the layout inside that case is the fact that the PCIe x16 slot will limit you to a single-slot width card. But with a $100 budget, that isn't a big handicap. Normally I'd recommend a GT 1030, but that only comes in 2GB. The slower GT 730 comes in 4GB, however.

If you want to wait and save up until you can afford it, this single-slot GTX 1050 Ti would be the best card for your PC. You may have to remove the cooling shroud though. The card would probably hit it.

that GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Compact looks pretty awesome with 768 cuda cores, but unfortunately my finances have been very limited lately so i think ill go with the GT 1030. thanks a lot for the help

I have that MB 0C27VV sitting around. I just stuck a full 2 slot wide GTX1060 3GB in it. Didn't touch anything on the MB. The case just doesn't have a 2nd slot. In the GTX750 era I just cut the GPU bracket in 1/2. If you cut the case you still need to remove the top and bottom tabs off the GPU bracket. The ZOTAC you don't need to void the warranty.
BTW the MSI 1060 3GB needs some trimming to clear the cooler, a bracket chop and would require a PSU swap. It's going into my Opti 380MT.
