Question Optoma E761 projector unresponsive

Good day to you, I have an Optoma e761 projector which I've tried to connect to a laptop through a usb cable, and to a win7 desktop PC with VGA. The projector is simply unresponsive. The only button functional is the power on/off button. menu is not showing, all the resetting attempts is unfruitful. The only thing showing is horizontal black stripes. I've provided an image:

Did it all work before or is this a new projector or setup?

Have you tried another known working USB cable to connect laptop/desktop and projector?

Does the projector work with any other computers and/or cables? Noted that you have tried a laptop and desktop but Windows 7 could be an issue on the desktop side and maybe power on the laptop.

Try manually downloading any necessary drivers and apps via the manufacturer's website. Reinstall and reconfigure.

No third party tools or installers.

Another option to try is to use a independently powered USB Hub.

PC -----USB cable ------> [USB Hub] -----USB cable ----> Projector. Try on laptop and desktop.
