Question Orange DRAM LED on ASUS Motherboard

Help!

The motherboard in question is an ASUS TUF Gaming X670-E Plus Wifi, with a Ryzen 7800X3D and 2x32gb Corsair Vengeance 6000MHz CL30 slotted into it. The machine powers on but fails to POST, simply showing the orange DRAM LED.

I've tried waiting 15+ minutes, I've shuffled the RAM sticks around (one stick, two sticks, different slots, etc.), I've used BIOS flashback to update to latest version, left the CMOS battery out for 15 minutes, cleared the CMOS, checked all power connectors to be in nice and snug, checked the RAM and CPU for physical defects, even swearing at it for a solid half hour. I've done everything Google could find me as a potential solution to no avail.

Am I missing anything? Is there a magic bullet solution I haven't found? Is one of my components faulty? If so which one, is there any way to know? Any advice would be extremely welcome.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Which slots are the rams populating on the motherboard? Might want to relieve the mounting pressure on the CPU cooler by loosening the screws holding the cooler down on the socket.

Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

Thanks for the welcome and the feedback. That's one thing I forgot to mention, I did see someone talking on reddit about a too-tight CPU cooler so I did ease off on that pressure, unfortunately it didn't help.

CPU: Ryzen 7800X3D
CPU cooler: Corsair iCUE H100X AIO
Motherboard: ASUS TUF Gaming X670-E Plus Wifi
Ram: 2x32gb Corsair Vengeance 6000MHz CL30
SSD/HDD: Samsung 970 evo 1tb and Samsung 990 pro 2tb (no 2.5" or 3.5" drives)
GPU: Sapphire Nitro+ Radeon 7900XTX (have also tried with no gpu connected)
PSU: Corsair HX1000i
Chassis: Corsair iCUE 4000X
OS: None (can't even get far enough to install one)
Monitor: 32" Dell G3223Q

Every single component except the Samsung 970 evo is brand new, and the BIOS, assuming the flashback stuck, is version 1654.

Do you have DOHP/XMP enabled?

If not, Sounds like your RAM modules may be faulty. Are you sure you are using the correct slots? Ensure you are using A2 & B2 if using 2 RAM sticks, or try to boot using a single RAM stick by installing it in the A2 port

So, an update on this, my issue is now fixed. The issue was, I'm pretty sure, outdated BIOS incompatibility with the RAM.

ASUS documentation told me how to flashback the BIOS, it did not tell me accurately what I should be looking for to verify completion. I replaced the board with an MSI MAG Tomahawk X670E wifi, which a) had the same issue and b) even worse documentation. Ironically, the worse documentation indirectly fixed the issue, it was so uninformative that I went to Youtube for information where I found some proper instructions on how to do it and what to look for.

More to the point, the ASUS board's BIOS flashback LED only flashed for maybe 30 seconds or so then went out, I thought that indicated completion (having no reference on how long it's meant to take). Youtube expanded on instructions to prepare the flashback USB and what I should be looking for. One successful BIOS update later and the board boots with almost no issue whatsoever (for some reason it was being stubborn with the single RAM stick in slot 1, when I moved it to slot 2 it booted almost instantaneously).

I'm having the same issue as DarkFenix.
CPU: Ryzen 7900X3D
CPU cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Halo Black
Motherboard: ASUS TUF Gaming X670-E Plus Wifi
Ram: 2x16gb G.Skill F5-600J3038F16GX2-TZNR DDR5 6000 CL 30-38-38-96
SSD/HDD: WD Black SN850X 2tb (no 2.5" or 3.5" drives) - In the M2_1 slot
GPU: ZOTAC GeforceRTX 8GB 3070Ti (have also tried with no gpu connected) in PCIE16.1 slot
PSU: ROG Stix 850W
Chassis: Antec DF8000 Flux
OS: None (can't even get far enough to install one)
Monitor: 32" LG

I did all the same things (CMOS reset, air blowing out DRAM slots, etc).... including the BIOS update to version 1813 (did it twice with the LED behaving as it should blinking and then going off when done). I've tried one DRAM in A2, one in A2 and B2 as the manual recommends.

The DRAM orange light comes on immediately and no BIOS posting. I originally had different DRAM and then the G.Skill listed the one above as "known compatible". ASUS website also lists this DRAM as compatible.

Help... I'm stuck and never had issues with ASUS MBs before, but this is the first AMD I've done.
