orange flashing led

I have the maximus ix formula and I can't figure out why this led never stops blinking. There is a small blinking orange/yellow led on the right middle side of the mobo. Its between the usb 3.1 and sata ports on the left side. I looked through the mobo manual and couldn't find anything. Anyone have an idea of what it might be? thanks!

Isn't it labeled HD_LED in the user's manual? That would be the hard drive activity LED.

yeah thats what i thought too, but apparently its the rj-45 lan led. and no its not labeled anything on the mobo or i would have been able to figure that out pretty easy xd
