origin not recognising storage

hi guys im new to this site. recently i built my own pc evrything is working great but i have one problem. when i click change game library location on origin the pop up screen that should display all my files and folders is blank. i want to change where games install i have a 250 gb ssd but i want to istall on my 1tb hdd but origin is not letting me. im not having any problems installing anything else on my 1tb hdd . i have searched online for an answer but cant find one.hope u guys can help.
