Actually that's the only guess I could think up over the last minute. But It doesn't go with the whole ATI Technologies, Inc. name, so it was a lame guess.
Here's a history lesson of ATI. I have never seen the name exlained before though. Hopefully someone else can help.
i find it quiet amazing that these r 2 of the most talked about companies on this forum...which is probably the biggest computer related forum on the planet...and still we have no idea what they stand for...
Google didnt help...
and the various trips many enthusiast sites took to their headquarters never mentioned what their name stands for...
