The Desktop freezes up randomly and Event Viewer gives me event ID's 41 and the above error in this screen: http://screencast.com/t/lMJM5PoJ5sM

Does anyone have a fix?

2 things, Event viewer always has errors, they may not be the cause of your problem; and Event 41 is a reaction to the shutdown, its not the cause. Windows runs a report at startup to check if PC was shutdown right the previous time and eill create an Event 41 if it finds it wasn't.

I could find a fix for that error but it refers to Win 7 and the steps don't match Win 10 after a certain point.

What are the specs of the PC?

Freezes aren't usually windows, they normally hardware so might want to run the free version of http://www.memtest86.com/ on your ram, one stick at a time. It creates a bootable USB so don't need windows. Any errors are too many, stick needs to be replaced.

This error started shortly after I went from the Beta version of W10 to the Alpha version. The machine freezes up randomly in two Desktops with different setups that had never had problems before. I built the machines. One in 2008, the other in 2014. If you still think I have memory problems, it'd be in both machines?

This is what I did and so far it seems to have worked. I saw a YouTube method, simple straight forward and I did not lose ANY data or apps. For those having terminal W10 cancer, I highly recommend doing this.
