Hey there, @minural!

I'd not recommend this storage configuration, especially if you demand performance from your system. The operating system is running all the time, unlike your games. If you keep the OS on the HDD, your overall system performance won't be what you expected when you got the new SSD. I'd definitely consider doing the opposite - OS on the SSD and Games on the HDD, because you will get more out of it. This way the overall system performance and load times will be improved.
I'd advise you to reinstall Windows on the SSD, but make sure you UNPLUG the HDD when you do that, otherwise you'll most probably encounter an OS confusion. I'd also suggest you to check this Windows Install & Optimization guide for...
Games should load faster, though not as fast as if both were on the ssd, some programs access the registry, drivers, directx and such, all would most likely be on the OS drive, and likely slow things a bit.
