Other Than the Dual-Link DVI cable, what cable do I need to conect my ACER GN276HL 3D Monitor to my PC to get nvidia 3D Vision

I have an ACER GN276HL 3D Monitor. I bought an NVidia 3D vision 2 Glasses kit w/IR EMMITER. As I read the instructions in the owners manual of the monitor, under 3D setup it said I need an additional USB cable between the PC and monitor. It dose not say what cable. I chatted with ACER help, and they knew as much as I did. There is only one jack on the back of the monitor for something to plug into. It looks like a headphone jack, but I know it's not.

You shouldn't need anything else. Your monitor has VGA, DVI, HDMI, a power jack and a lock slot. Your IR emitter probably needs to be plugged in via USB but not your screen.

according to this manual the USB gets attached between the pc and the IR emitter. You may also have a usb connection to charge the 3d glasses. Do not attach the IR emitter until after you install the software for it.

I actually recently purchased the nVidia 3D Vision 2 myself and it took me a while to figure out everything and how to set it up and where to get all the drivers but I now know exactly what to do so if you would like a walkthrough just contact me. Also I'd like to know maybe how you found it setting everything up maybe I am doing things too difficult b/c whoa is it a process!
