Symptoms:
- No signal on monitor screen
- No POST Beep (i have a system speaker)
- No light on power button
- The last time this was able to sucessfully boot. The cpu usage by the "system" was over 90% (check in task manager). In the middle of trying to fix the usage it automatically shut down. Then after a while there was no light on the power button. This happened about 3 weeks ago.
What have I tried:
- New Mobo
- 2 New PSU (Thermaltake 600w and a 430w. They are horrible brands but they should at least work. I didn't want to buy from newegg again. Returning an item is deadly horrible)
- CMOS Reset
- CMOS Battery Reseat
- Reseat RAM and place only 1 on all slots. I even borrowed 3 RAM from my 2nd computer
- External Build
- Main Function Build (MOBO, PSU, CPU, HSF Build)
- Reseat all connectors tons of times
Quesetions:
1. What causes no POST BEEP? (I know that CPU can cause that. As well as the RAM but I used 4 ram cards one at a time...)
2. What other parts causes no boot and no post other than Motherboard, PSU, and CPU.
Hypothesis
- It might be the CPU. I heard it is the rarest computer part to break. From my eyes I cannot see any bent pins. Also in the head of each pin (not the tail) some of them are darker than the other but not black. Is it normal for A8 processor to be like this? Other than there is nothing visually weird about the cpu.
