Note that I am the only user on my laptop computer w/Win 7. Have separate MS Office 2007 Student Editiion with W/P/E but no Outlook. Trying to load separate MS Outlook 2010 program.
After almost two years of successfully using my outlook 2010 linked to my online Gmail account, about 6 months ago I started receiving messages that I wasn't authorized to reply or send new messages, and that I should right-click and change properties, etc. Receiving messages, contacts, calendar, etc., no problem. I found that there wasn't anyway to change the authorization on the Properties window, and the Authorization tab in the top toolbar isn't activated/operational. At first thought it might have been contradicting with the temp MS Office software that came with the computer and had expired, so I was careful to delete all items dealing with that, but nope didn't fix the problem. Did some other changes and nothing worked, so got mad and deleted the program.
Just reloaded the program after some 4 or 5 months, computer seemed to remember the old settings, which may or may not have helped me. But OMGosh, still having the same problem of not being authorized to reply to message or send new messages. Paid good money for the program, would be neat if it still worked properly. Very frustrating...
