Question Outlook sending legit emails to Junk

Outlook has been automatically sending legit emails from trusted contacts to junk, even after numerous back and forth conversations with them.
Why does this keep happening? I shouldn't have to whitelist them all each time.
There are no rules or extensions in place. Office is fully updated.

While in the Junk folder you simply right-click on a message and mark as "Not Junk". Do NOT simply move them from the Junk folder. The filter will learn from this. If you just move from Junk the filter never sees it.

I've been doing this. Making it learn emails aren't junk isn't the issue here.
The issue is Outlook suddenly thinking legit emails from trusted senders and contacts are junk!
This is making me miss important emails and I'm trying to find the cause.

Is this for a personal use account or work related?

Work account.
And I found out it is happening to numerous employees here.
I am the systems administrator and we are using M365 accounts. Nothing has changed within the 365 admin center. I had also checked our mail filter rules within the admin center, but that is not the culprit.

We had an issue, server side, recently that caused massive re-routing of legit traffic as you are experiencing. I assume this is the case with your system as well.

I'll see what I can dig up from our folks, but may not be until Monday until I can ask.
