Outside casing of HP laptop cracked

There's a small crack near the corner of the casing on the back of the top part of my laptop. It seems like it has been getting bigger and I want to do something about it before it spreads everywhere. I'm not sure what the best way to go about addressing this problem is.

A picture may help us realize the extent of damage but I'd be inclined to use a 5 or 10 minute epoxy to seal/repair the crack.

*truthfully, I'm lazy enough I'd first attempt to cover the crack with a vinyl sticker to see if that doesn't stop (or at least retard) the spread of the crack
