Over clocking 1600X

Hey guys, can i overclock the 1600x with be quiet- DARK ROCK PRO 3?
whats the maximum safe ghz i can take it to with this cooler?

Yup you can overclock with that cooler however there's no telling the exact speed you'll get as chips can differ on overclocking capability. Just make sure your motherboard is a B350 or X370 so you can overclock.

I think 4ghz is achievable with that cooler. As far as if there's a better cooler around that price I would look at Noctua however they're ugly as sin IMHO if aesthetics matters to you.

I think the max overclock for most of the Ryzen 5/7 CPU's is 4.0-4.1ghz.
