Hello, I have a BMAX Pro 5 AMD Ryzen 7 5825 u mini PC. I have 2 , my question is what is the best and some what easy way to over clock this mini PC if possible with a app? If not , what settings in the BIOS can I ENABLE to get it to get the most power for mining. I know this mini PC is not going to get me rich , but I have miners running and wanted to learn how I can mine on my own instead of buying the miners so I can see how this works. My next step would to be adding Graphics card new newer PCs that I buy? Thank for your time?

It won't let me install it for my mini PC. I tried and it won't download . When this happened I read on line that mini PC's can't download them , if I'm correct? It sounds stupid though. I just started a few months ago on trying to learn about computers and the parts. I'm new to this so anything you can corre6me on wóuld ne helpful.

Make sure you have latest chipset drivers to install RM.

It sounds like a fun project to educate yourself, but I think the days of making money mining crypto currency on a PC (at least for BitCoin) are over, even with a powerful GPU. Mind you, I've never mined anything, so there might be some "niche" coins that can still generate money on a home PC.

Most of the recommended rigs appear to be ASICs designed for specific currencies and costing thousand of dollars.

Note the power consumption figures of these rigs. Some of them require kW. Fine if you live near a cheap hydro electric power station, but no good if like me you're paying US $0.33 per kWhr (and the price is increasing in April).
