[SOLVED] Overclock ryzen 3600 for 3200 ram speed?

I have 3200 ram, do i need to overclock my ryzen 3600 to get that ram speed or can i just oc my ram ? The mobo says 3866(O.C.)/ 3733(O.C.)/ 3600(O.C.)/ 3466(O.C.)/ 3400(O.C.)/ 3200/ 3000/ 2933/ 2800/ ect ect..its on a x570 mobo if that matters

But more to the point of your first question: you do not need to overclock the CPU frequency to overclock RAM. The 3rd gen Ryzen CPU's are rated only to 3200 speed so anything over that is technically overclocking RAM so that is why it says what it does - 3866(O.C.)/ 3733(O.C.), etc. But you're not changing the CPU frequency multiplier to do that.
