Question Overclocked 8700k stopped switching to lower clocks with low or idle load

Hi, I have a 8700k for a while and I run it for over a year on the same overclock. As far as I know it until recently it switched the clocks speeds to lower clock rate when the computer was on idle or lower loads. I believe it is the "dynamic mode" setting in the MSI bios. Today I noticed that it doesn't switch anymore. Its running constantly on 4.8Ghz all the time on all 6 cores. That was never the case before and I didn't do any changes to BIOS. What could be the reason for this?

Figured it out myself: The windows power plan were set to high performance instead of balanced! Changing it to balanced fixed it!
