I just overclocked my i7 to 4.0ghz (I know not a huge amount but I only have air cooling and I wanted to see the temps I would get).
On idle the average temperature was about 32-35c and when I ran prime95 for a few minutes one of the cores reached 67c max while the others were around 59-65. Are these ok?

These are fine!

Anything under 70-75 is considered good. Once you hit 80 it might be a bit of a concern.
Run prime95 for an hour or so and then see the temperatures.

Alright, thanks! I just wanted to make sure. I only reached about 45-50c in Battlefield 4 so that's good. The only thing is my GPU (EVGA GTX 670 FTW) is getting pretty hot. All the way up to 73 degrees.

73c isn't bad at all for the 670, even 80c on cpu/gpu isn't bad, but you'd like to be under that. real conservative temps would be 75c or 70c and under, especially if its increasing case temps and affecting the temps of other things and causing stability/overclocking issues.
