I just bought ryzen, I am a student didn't have a ton of budget, ram is SO expensive, I just bought cheap stuff. I am trying to overclock it to anythig better without any results, I am experienced overclocking CPU and GPU but not good with ram, My previous build I overclocked ddr3 from 1333mhz to 1600mhz without voltage tweaking and left it at that, this time i'm not lucky

even at 1.45 volts this ram will not go to 2400mhz, I assume t step would be loosing the timings, so I can increase clock speed, Anyone know what timings to try/ aim for? Very un-experienced with OC'ing DDR4

DDR4 should not be subjected to anything above 1.35v, period! If you must set the voltage in BIOS to a max of 1.35v. Before we can suggest much more, we're going to need to know your full system's specs as well as your OS. List them like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

You probably know that overclocking will dump heat into your chassis so airflow should be adequate(or more).
