Hi everyone. So i want to overclock my 2133mhz single channel 8gb ram to lets say 2400 or even 2666mhz if possible. Can i overclock it on my AsRock A320M-DGS motherboard, and if i can, how much can i overclock. Also yeah, i know a320m motherboards don't support OC, but im pretty sure every AM4 motherboard supports RAM OC.

According to the specs on the mobo's page it does support up to 3200MHz OC on RAM. just make sure your CPU is able to keep up with the OC ram.
https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/A320M-DGS/index.asp

Note: only 3200 OC on ryzen series chips. If you have A-series then max is 2400MHz
Thanks for the reply! I guess its worth playing with OC, will try to hit as much as i can until it crashes

As you are ocing the ram be sure to stress test along the way using prime 95, aida64, or asus realbench stress test.
If it can't run those for several hours it not stable.
If your stressing can run for 8hrs on any of those your ram is stable.
Yeah im doing that right now, will leave it all night. Thanks for the tip still :)

Yeah I overclocked my 2400 on my a320 to 3200 no problems. Think it depends on your ram too and silicone lottery.

Gradually move up and try benchmarking on userbenchmark see if your ram is improving. After you get the speed try lower timings. Also make sure you increase the voltage slightly as you move up. Worked for me.

Make sure you do a memtest after to check there's no issues. GL 🙊😀
