I have a stock cooled i5-4670k. I let AI Suite III overclock it for me at first to start. It put it to 1.2 vcore and 4.2 ghz. It crashed about 10 minutes into PlanetSide 2. So I rebooted and put my Vcore to 1.21 with a deviation of 0.001. I now run PlanetSide on Ultra at over 70fps in combat and over 200 at the Warp Gate. I'm happy right were it is. I didn't torture test it. Just gaming. Temps never went over 50 c. Should I go further or just stay where I am?

Fantastic. That makes life easy.

Now that you have a new cooler, run Prime95 with your current OC for a few hours to ensure stability. Temps with Prime95 will always be higher. If stable and want to go higher, increase clock and test again. If your PC crashes, raise v-core a little. Test again.

The EVO is a cooler for mild to high clocks, with suitable temps. It maybe difficult to get the 4670k above 4.5-4.6 on air.
60 is a very good temp for PS2. My cpu goes through 75-80 temps under load.

At 4.2 Ghz and 1.25 v-core your cpu shouldnt have a problem. Are you sure its the cpu causing the crash? Maybe it can be your power supply in which increasing vcore would increase crashing.

You are safe to overclock your voltage upto 1.4Vcore and not every chip is made to overclock the same, just because others can achieve the overclock you currently have for 1.2vcore doesn't mean you can too.

Once you reach your chip's limit, you cant really push it any higher without giving up a rediclous amount of voltage boost. Don't be sad yet because 4.3GHz is a nice boost up from the stock frequency!
