Here's the case, I'm going to install my new dedicated GPU and will disabled the A8 IGP..
Will this decrease the CPU power usage?? So is it safe to overclock it??

I already read some reviews about overclocking A8 3850 and they seems ok and stable..

Is it safe to use the same CPU fan (the built-in one) when overclocked to 3.3??

Solution

That depends, when you overclock and see your CPU going to 60C on load then yeah it's time to get a new cpu cooler, I recommend the corsair H60 liquid, or the CM 212 Hyper EVO Air cooler.

ok.. so its fine as long as I wont overdo it.. I would overclock it a little just enough to reach the temp when igpu is still in use.. so I get a few boost and no overheating..

I googled your recommended coolers, I think I'll go with CM Hyper 212X or EVO because Corsair H60 doesnt support FM1 socket used in A8.. But only if needed, right now the original A8 coolor seems ok..
