Hey all. I could use little help! My comp has "regular" settings in BIOS at 3500mhz with 3800Turbo Boost. I did change just CPU Multiplier to 19x and got 4.0 and Turbo Boost to 21x and have 4.3! But I still think its better to get it at fixed rates. I wanted try overclock it at 4.2 or 4.3 stable. Here are my specs:

2x8GB-Kit G.Skill RipJaws-X PC3-12800U CL9
AMD FX-6300 Prozessor, Boxed, Sockel AM3+
Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3, AMD 760G, mATX
HIS R9 270X IceQ Boost Clock 2GB GDDR5 PCI-E DLDVI-I/HDMI/2xMini DP
LG GH24NS bare schwarz
Sharkoon BD28 green
Thermaltake Berlin 630W
Thermaltake Contact 21
Toshiba DT01ACA Series 500GB, SATA 6Gb/s

I have been reading alot lately and tried few settings and keep failing. Had to remove bios battery twice!! Why do I have different voltages as others do ?

Also.. I did read that I need turn off: AMP, c6 state, c13 and C&q..Do i need turn them back on after im done finding stable oc?

THX!

I always turn off turbo mode when I OC my FX-6350. Otherwise, turbo mode will try to go too high and increase voltage. Just work with the multiplier until it is no longer stable. Then increase the vcore ~ 0.05v at a time until it is stable. I usually stop at 1.5V. Once stable, you may be able to increase the multi again... repeat. My FX-6350 tops out at 4.7 GHz on my Extreme6 board.

Once the stress testing is done, you can usually re-enable those features again for everyday use. But leave turbo mode disabled.
