Overclocking AMD FX 8320 on a Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3 motherboard...

Hi everyone

Would it be possible for me to overclock an AMD FX-8320 with these specs?

CPU: AMD FX-8320
CPU Cooler: CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo
RAM: Kingston 8 GB 1600 mhz RAM
GPU: Visiontek AMD Radeon R9 280x
PSU: Cooler Master ELITE V2 550W

If I could overclock it, to what extent could it do it?

Do you already have those components? That isn't an overclocking motherboard, but you can overclock on it, I wouldn't go any higher than the turbo frequency of the 8320.

It turns out that I can't get an 280x so I'll be getting a 270x. Overclocking it should work right?

I have the same motherboard and I have pushed my 8320 to 4.5GHz on 1.46V. And with prime95 running after 2 hrs my temps never go past 50C
