Overclocking an i5-2320

Hello guys, i'm planning to oc my i5 2320 to maybe 4ghz or 3.9/3.8 (without BSOD). I have a Gigabyte Z68 ap d3 motherboard. What are the safest settings for my cpu overclock (including SAFE BCLK oc)? WARNING: INTEL STOCK COOLER IS IN MY COMPUTER. (Please hurry up)

You can try, but I would not bother.
You might get 3%.

Better, I think to sell the I5-2320 in favor of an overclockable K processor.

For either, spend $35 on a better cooler like the scythe kotetsu.

That CPU has the multiplier locked so you can only overclock on the frequency and that platform can only overclock around 3% on frequency before it becomes unstable. A K series CPU has an unlocked multiplier so is not restricted in this way.

running mine at 105 base clock and 36 multiplier. that's around 3.7ghz or similar
