overclocking Asus M5A78L-m LX3

hey all I just want to ask one thing I want to overclock my amd fx 6300 so I can get 4ghz out of it but I have been looking on the internet that my Asus M5A78L-M LX3 PLUS is not good for doing this or would I need to buy a new MB to overclock my cpu if so a list would help me out a lot thanks for your time

Im unsure as to who told you that it isn't a good motherboard to overclock with. You can reach your 4ghz with that board. If you want me to recommend you another board I can do that.

Im unsure as to who told you that it isn't a good motherboard to overclock with. You can reach your 4ghz with that board. If you want me to recommend you another board I can do that.

I was looking on the internet and the review for overclocking my MB is not good but my friend did say go with M5A78L-M/USB3 as he overclocks with this so what do you think is better to overclock with M5A78L-M LX3 PLUS or M5A78L-M/USB3 I'm a gamer so need it for that thanks
