Hi guys. I recently purchased a new setup (thanks to some of the guys in the other forums) and ended up purchasing an AMD ® Athlon 64 3000+ 64 Bit, (1800mhz) 128K L1, 512K L2 Cache 800 FSB socket 939 and a Gigabyte K8NF-9 (Nforce 4, Socket 939) + 512 Ram etc.. and have been doing some research on the net and a lot of ppl have been able to over clock this CPU to at least 2.2GHZ. I was wondering if anyone has the EXACT same setup as me and has overclocked there machine. I will more than happy with 2.0 GHZ. If anyone can help it will really be appreciated. I am still a noob at overclocking but don't really have the $$$ to mess around myself (incase i break something). So I kinda wanna just overclock it to 2 GHZ and then use my PC. I am clueless when it comes to voltage adjustments and PCI-E/AGP bus speed locks etc.. so i will need all the adjustments 🙁

Thanks in Advance

try my setting:

3000+ 1.8G overclock to 280x9=2520mhz (cpu 1.5V)
DDR400 ram @ 230 (depend on u ram , maybe set it lower)
HTT set to 800 (x4)

Jetway K8GT4 Ultra

chipset add to 1.65V (HTT from 1000 to 1128)
LB add to 1.3V

remember change the good Heatsunk with fan , mine is coolermaster hyper 48+ ,, but hyper 6+ is better
