I have recently overclocked my system to 4.4Ghz through the BIOS and when I leave the PC off for some time, such as overnight, and try to boot it spins up the fans and lights come on but no beeps or display. Also, the keyboard lights do not come on and I have to flip the switch on the Power Supply to shut down for some reason. (cooler is actually Corsair H105)
SYSTEM: http://pcpartpicker.com/b/RLjcCJ
BIOS VERSION: F3i
MOTHERBOARD: GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 (just in case)

P.S. When finally Booting, it says this: http://imgur.com/c4jNJ8r (says 0Ghz even though i set 4.4Ghz)

Any Tips or Solutions Appreciated!

ok, it's working so far on boot, but its only been one time and have not shutdown overnight yet but ill keep you posted!

P.S. not sure if I did it right but I already set the ram to XMP "Profile 1" in the BIOS...

Hi, i have the same issue when i try to run my cpu @ 4.3ghz, it boots with that bios message. When i run it at 4.2ghz, everything boots/runs fine. Have made several topics about this issue, never found the solution.. ;/ Im pretty sad as well, cuz my cooler would probably hold my cpu even at 4.4 ghz, but im stuck @ 4.2 just because of this message. ;/

Assuming you have the same motherboard, what voltage is your CPU set to? could you link me possibly to one of your posts? ill be happy to try and help...
what is working for me now: 4.3 Ghz @ 1.42500 vcore btw

Hi, when i try to run it at 4.3 ghz i set my voltage to 1.35v, as it passes the stresstests in prime95, and my temps are okey at that point. Now im running 4.2ghz @ 1.21v i think.. not sure tho. Cant keep all the numbers in my head 😀
My mobo is gigabyte 970a-ud3p, and my cpu is fx6300.
