Question Overclocking Corair Vengeance 3200 LPX Ram

Is it work overclocking RAM?

Aorus X570 I Motherboard
Ryzen 9 3900x CPU
2 x16GB Corsair Vengenace LPX Ram

I had the RAM running at over 3500mhz by simply changing the multiplier and leaving everything else on auto in BIOS settings - it seemed stable but I'm not sure where the perfomance gains are or if its dangerous letting the motherboard automatically set timings etc ?

It should be fine with auto settings. The die for the LPX is Hynix a-die so overclocking it is a bit strict. I would test a few cinebench benchmarks with xmp settings and your OC settings to see if you're getting any results.

they are Samsung b-die , I don't know if thats any better than the hynix?
