I have a pair of G.Skill Ripjaws X (2x4gb) and for some reason I cannot get it to clock at 2133 as advertised. The max I can get it to run at is 1866 can someone lend me some ideas on how I can get this thing to run at the O.C'd speeds. I tried to go into the BIOS already and changed the frequency to DDR3-2133 but it doesn't change. Just keeps maxing out at 1866.
Also set the timings to: CL-11-11-11-30 1.6V

Current PC specs:
MSI 970 Gaming
AMD FX-6300
ATI Radeon R9 280
G. Skill Ripjaws X (2x4gb) DDR3-2133 PC3-17000

It's not changing back in the BIOS. Stays at DDR3-2133. The system starts up fine, no hiccups of any kind. I recently updated it to the latest BIOS version. My XMP profiles in the BIOS are grayed out so I cannot touch them. I have boosted the CPU-NB voltages a couple times.

I thought about it and I'll just stick with the 1866 speeds. I recently had it crash because I was setting different voltages in my BIOs. I like how my current set up and would not like any future crashes so I've decided to just stay at 1866. Thank you!
