I have never done overclocking before but I want to try it to get more out of the i5 that I have. I cant do it on my current motherboard which is a h97; which I hear I can't over clock on it. Was wondering which motherboard should I get to get a decent overclock...and for a rookie overclocker? Also....is the cooler master hyper 212 enough to cool my cpu while I overclock it. Any help would be appreciated.

Oh and one more thing. When/if I do replace my motherboard...do I have to do a full re install of windows? I know I would have to re install my drivers and such...but for drivers like the graphics, and etc...do I have to do those?

My system:
i5 4670k
GTX 1060 6gb
8gb RAM 1600
250 SSD sandisk

You shouldn't need to reinstall Windows in theory, but definitely drivers. And the Hyper 212 is great for OC'ing, I am running one on my 4670K which is at 4.3GHz and runs about ~55C under a stress test.
