Overclocking i5 6600k to 4.0 or more?

I want to overclock the cpu but I don't want to raise its voltage and is it possible to overclock it with that cooler while being in safe temperature?

Yes - this cheap cooler is good enough. How far you can go with OC depends on your cpu sample, 4.0 should be no problem.

Max Turbo Frequency = 3.9 GHz (the cpu stated in newegg specification).

I run mine at 4.61Ghz with 1.344volts and my QPI link is at 4.61 also. It stays well under 90C at 100% load stress test.

It never hits 100% load, and it has a 100C temp thresh hold.

It doesn't bottle neck my gtx 1080 either
