Hi, I have dell vostro 3750 with i5-2430 and gt525m graphics. I know it's old and weak laptop, but I see something interesting in web, that gt525m can reach gt555m clocks, or even higher: http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/overclocking-the-gt-525m-card.601505/ Also I tried to oc my gpu with msi afterburner, for most used settings and gain aditional fps. Also I wanna ask which driver version should be best, and what software I should use? In forum other can change shader speed, voltages, etc, but I only can change core and memory clock.
One interesting thing I saw in web: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fXXCb5oQRQI It's bost up to 3.8 ghz, when intel said max turbo is up to 3 ghz. So I wanna ask it's possible to oc notebooks cpu, and how it's safe if possible?

I'd have to agree...However if it is a crappy laptop that you wouldn't shed a tear for if it died and never turned on again - Go hard. Well I shouldn't say that - So soft. Start with tiny increments - i'd worry about memory at all, just core. But you WILL reach a point where you are damaging the laptop itself. If you don't care and don't want to use it anymore, have fun!

P.S. post some pictures of the damage done plz! That would be awesome! Heh Heh....what? Beavis and Butthead died in the 90s? (Mostly) Ya, i guess i'm showing my age.
