Overclocking Msi GTX 970

Hello guys! I am very new to overclocking and i was wondering what sliders are safe to adjust in msi afterburner and how far i should adjust those sliders. Thanks in advance for any help

Slide the core clock up in 10 MHz steps , play your games and watch the temps . Any overheating or artifacting on the screen back it off

Cards are really safe and easy to oc nowadays. U can turn everything up to max except core and men clock and nothing will happen.

Volts to max
Target temp to max
Target power to max
Core clock + 200
Set your own fan curve

Run a stress test like unigin heaven or just start playing a game. If it crashes dial it down 10mhz and try again.

Then do the same with the memory clock but u can start that value with +500. Dial down 25 at a time until stable.

are you sure you can turn voltage up to max, and i know this is unrelated but is there any free cpu stress test besides prime95

So long as you dont overheat it it will last the life time of the computer .
