Hello, i have http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233144 ,however my motherboard says they are running at 1333mhz . Because i havent been an overclocker so fan i need someone advice on how to run them at 1600 mhz as their default. (safe to adjust it to 1600 from bios without and voltage changes? ) etc..

motherboard :http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3908#ov (ver 1.4 )
cpu : amd fx 6100
Thanks in advance. :)

This will work for you: In BIOS -> M.I.T. -> Advanced Memory Settings -> Extreme Memory Profile (X.M.P.) -> choose Profile 1 or Profile 2. It is currently set at AUTO, you will need to click on it to get the menu to choose the profile. Go ahead and choose Profile 1. These instructions are for your motherboard to enable X.M.P. which is obviously available on AMD boards.

Well, in M.I.T there is an option called DRAM E.O.C.P which is disabled by default. If i change it to profile 1 i get a message that system voltage is not optimized, should i continue without any issues?
(as mentioned x.m.p is nowhere)
:)

I have a GA-970A-DS3 motherboard and I thought the BIOS would be the same (I was wrong), so you want to use E.O.C.P. Try Profile 2 and see if you get the same message. Profile 1 is likely Command Rate 1 and Profile 2 is Command Rate 2 which should not require any optimization.
