overclocking on MSI H97 Gaming 3

hey guys,
my friend in chennai, india has an MSI H97 mobo paired with a recently brought i5-4690k [he dumped his older locked i3]

now the question is, is overclocking on this mobo possible [ heard you can do multiplier & cpu voltage overclock, not base clock over clock ]
also is complete overclocking [multiplier,voltage,base clock] possible on my z87-g43 32gb ddr3

You can OC on the Z87, the H97 isn't an OCing mobo, can raise base clock a little though not multiplier, be better with the Z87 mobo
