Overclocking past the power limit set by motherboard???

I have ASUS M5A97 R2.0 and it supports CPU up to 140W. I'm using FX 6100 with a TDP of 95W.

What happen when I overclock this CPU and the power draw past the limit? Is it even possible though?

This CPU is currently OC'd at 4.2 GHz at 1.428V. Prime95 load pushes the voltage to 1.452V. I don't have the tool to measure power.

Yes you can set voltages past the limit of the board. No you should not do it. It can easily fry your chip-set and other components. How many watts are you hitting now?
