Hello, so i want to know any good overclocking settings for the Ryzen 5 2600. I have a 2x8 16gb 3000mhz ram Sticks and B450 motherboard. I don't really understand the concept of CPU ratio and voltages but if someone tells me a good Settings or a number to number suggestion (e.g 1.25v to 1.3v) and i'll check it through. I have tried 1.2v and 1.3v with 3.8ghz and RAM at 2933mhz but i would like a good suggestion that my PC can cope with like 3.8ghz clock and 2933mhz ram speed. I have had issues with some input latency and lag spikes at 60fps while overclocking but i don't know what that means, either reducing the voltage or increasing or what.

Hmmm. You are going around about OC'ing the wrong way. Sadly, all chips are made slightly differently. Some OC higher than others. It's called the silicon lottery.

Although we or anyone, could give you settings to try only you and your chip will get there. You need to read about OC'ing and learn what to do, how to do it and why! Asking for a quick solution will possibly only frustrate you more if it doesn't work.

This is a great guide from a Tom's Forum moderator. It's good for beginners, and for seasoned OC'er's for a refresh :

It's worth having a read. And then another read. Learn what you need to know, and then YOU will be able to determine the best OC for YOUR chip.

For the most part OC'ing is about being methodical, testing after each setting change, and watching temps of your CPU (or whatever component it is you are OC'ing) as you OC the system. Take it slow, don't be in a rush to hit some number someone posts to you. Do it right and it will work flawlessly. Do it wrong, and you will have nothing but headaches, random crashes, restarts or worse, a corrupt OS.
